I have been a professional photographer since 1978 . A native of Colorado Springs, Colorado USA, the local scenery and landscapes led me to attempt to capture these vistas in black and white patterned after the master of black and white "Ansel Adams" (rich black and white tones and values). Black and white is still my passion and lends to my most expressive images. Having traveled around the United States and the Republic of Ireland and Canada for over thirty years, I have compiled both color and black and white images that are in use in numerous books and magazines to include covers, along with hundreds of other editorial uses. As freelance photographer, I have compiled a following of clients and collectors that have attended my many art exhibitions and use both my black and white and color images in every possible manner. From scenes of Ireland to the Maine Coast, to the New Mexico Southwest, I hope I have captured the land, it's people, the colors , the tones and feelings of so many subjects. From sports action, including amateur and professional hockey ,I am always present, cameras in tow, capturing the action, or the quiet and beauty of our world. In my years as a photographer, I have had the privilege of working with such clients and friends as : The United Way, The Boys and Girls Clubs, The IHS Pikes Peak Challenge, The Doubletree Hotel chain, The Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado , an array of advertising agencies, and hundreds of professional organizations and publications to numerous to mention.
